Hey tumblr, people dying isn’t funny. Families’ lives being torn apart isn’t funny. Mourning the loss of somebody you loved isn’t funny.

Laughing at the loss of human lives while the people closest to them are trying to pick up the pieces is not funny.

Was the whole thing a terrible idea? Yes, obviously. Is it infuriating that offensively rich people choose to do stupid shit like this with their money? Yes. Is this the result of a million different issues in today’s economy and general social structure? Yes.

But people are grieving right now because their parents, or their siblings, or their best friends are probably not coming back. That’s not something to snicker over on your phone. Grow the fuck up and have some human decency.

One thing that tickled me about the Barbie movie was how Gloria’s husband is (imo) a ‘Real World’ Ken.

We see very little of him in the movie. In both of his scenes, he’s trying to speak/learn Spanish. He does nothing important or if consequence in terms of the plot… But he’s trying to learn a language his wife and daughter speak. He’s not excelling, I’m not even sure if he’s succeeding. But he is kensistently trying.

For all of the 'Real World’ men who are antagonists or opponents to Barbie, El Esposo de Gloria (as he is listed in the credits) has true Kenergy.
